Do you want to change your facebook profile URL? When you create facebook account you are allowed to change your profile URL only 2 times after that you are not allowed to change your user name or Profile URL.
So In this tutorial I will show you how to change your facebook profile URL.
Follow the steps below:
Login to your Facebook profile and go to settings option and click on general when you land on that page you see a link named Username: and beside that, you see edit option click on it. if you have option to change your username pause this video and change it , But if you don’t keep watching this video I will guide you how you can.
Open a new tab on your browser and go to facebook.com/bookmarks/pages after loading this page you all your pages you have created and you also find an option Create a Page click on it.
Click on Entertainment box, choose “Movie Character”, and insert any name you like then click on agreement and then click on Get Started.
Now you are landed on next change facebook will ask you for information just fill out with loream ipsum text and click on save info.
Then skip all three pages.
After skipping all three pages, you will land on page’s admin panel and now you see a option Edit Page click on it and the drop down menu will appear and then click on “Update Page Info”.
Now you are in Page settings page and their you see “Facebook Web Address Option” and beside that, you see Edit Link click on it and you see “Create a web address for this Page” click on it.
Now go back to your profile page and copy the last name of the profile. Copy the text highlighted with red color. http://facebook.com/
go back to tab No2 and page the copied text in page URL field and click on “Check Availability” and you receive a error “YourUserName is currently ser as the username for your Timeline. Do you want to change it to be the username for this page? Your may only change this once.” That is ok click on Transfer Username.
Congratulation you have transferred username successfully. Now you need to Re login your Facebook account.
After successfully login go to settings of your profile, click on user name, and change the name your want.
